This is a combination of the drugs hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ) and triamterene used for the treatment of hypertension when hypokalemia has developed on hydrochlorothiazide alone or when the development of hypokalemia must be avoided.

Advice & Tips: I can't really be sure if the irritability I attribute to the Triamterene-HCTZ is actually due to the medication, or the constant ringing in my ear, or insufficient sleep... but the timing makes me tend toward the medication.
