Advice & Tips: I've raised and lowered my dose (per pdoc instructions) a couple of times due to side effects. It seems to be a really hard medication for me to get "used" to, but pdoc thinks it could be worth it in the end. It takes longer to see a result, mood-wise, than some other meds, particularly if you have to step up/down/up/down doses like I have.

Advice & Tips: The side effects really threw me for a while. For a few hours after taking the pill I feel like I want to claw off my arms I'm so shaky and uncomfortable in my skin. I'm getting used to it now, though it is still there. Other side effects like increased anxiety, insomnia, appetite change, etc have gotten less since I started. But the restlessness and the suicidal ideation have stayed high so far (I've been on the drug about three weeks).

Advice & Tips: adding alcohol (even 1-2 glasses a week) can cause the unexpected side effects that i mentioned when i accidently miss a dose. the experience is usually transient so i refain from drinking.
