Risperidone is used to treat schizophrenia, and episodes of mania or mixed episodes for people with bipolar disorder, and irritability and aggression associated with autism. It may also be used for Tourette's, pervasive developmental disorder, PTSD, and agitation associated with Alzheimer's.

Advice & Tips: It turns out that Risperidone can cause elevated prolactin, which can interfere with other hormones. Prolactin is supposed to go back to normal within a few weeks of stopping. I'm doing another set of labs in December so I will find out.
