Lactulose is a laxative drug taken as an oral syrup and used to treat constipation. It is also used in the prevention and treatment of portal-systemic encephalopathy, a neuropsychiatric syndrome associated with liver disease.

Dosage: 10 g/15 mL Twice daily
Advice & Tips: Gentle - maybe a little too gentle if on pain killers like Codine. Need to drink lots of water, but even then I didn't get much relief. I found it was best taken regularly with a Glycerol Suppository first thing in the morning. That broke the log jam after 7 days!
