    Major (for My purpose was more than jus one I had tremors in hands and legs,stiffness and dyskinesias all of which were not being helped for long by the meds they still helped but not very long so for a better quality to my day my dr. recommmend DBS.)

Advice & Tips: I just had the surgery a little over a month. The Honeymoon only lasted a week for me. I get the DBS turned on and first programming on April 19, 2012. I can't wait.

Advice & Tips: You have to believe that the treatment will work. In my case my quality of life after the treatment became much better. Before i could not do anything after 5:00 PM. Now I feel almost normal.

Advice & Tips: The current voltage settings on my neuro-stimulator are 3.5volts on my right side and 2.4volts on left side. These settings can be adjusted as needed by using my neuro-stimulator However, these settings have not been changed in several months as there has not been a need to change these. DBS helps with tremor but not with balance.

Advice & Tips: Boston-Scientific (current-controlled) is best DBS manufacturer, Soft voice is a minor problem. Stutter steps happen when I have not set current high enough.
