Advice & Tips: Life with out Modafinil is very ordinary. I was first diagnosed with depression two year before having a sleep study and OSA and somnolence was discovered. I wonder now if the depression was just a result of these two conditions. I am on 150mg of Setraline for the depression and since being on both that and 200mg of modafinil, I have my life back. I once could not walk past the bed and not want to get in. I often fell aslep if I lay down on the floor to play with my children. I was a zombie. Great drug. Worth every cent for my issues.

Advice & Tips: At tne end of 2016, I quit working at UTC full time. When the days get shorter in August, something happens to my mood. This year was different because I didn't have to work. The Psych Dr said to try adding 30 mg of Cymbalta later in the day to get rid of the "zaps". This happens because the brain needs more antidepressant. I also added 200 mg modafinil per day. It has been 1 week.

Advice & Tips: Started on Nov 1. 2014 this season. 300mg modafinil. Yes, I n case I start to doubt if the drug is helpful--it is. Caffeine does not help me feel better. More sleep does not help me feel more lively.

Advice & Tips: I have been take this seasonally. Note that the "plan" price at Express Scripts was about $1000 for 90 day supply (any dosage); my insurance price was about $100. Now, my insurance price for the same 90 day supply is $20 and I think it's because of generic/patent status.

Advice & Tips: I still take this in the fall (when the days are just starting to get short) like the end of August. I then stop in March. I have used Nuvigil or Provigil. If I decrease dose, i am sleepy during day. If i maintain does, it is very easy to stay up until 1am.

Advice & Tips: I liked Provigil. It counteracted the sleepiness from Cymbalta prescribed by the psychatrist, but the dosage wasn't enough for sleepiness from Mirapex prescribed by the neurologist. Medco wouldn't up my dosage.

Advice & Tips: getting on the lexapro and giving that about a month was the thing that helped the provigil have a better effectiveness in treating my fatigue and also helping me focus and deals with the depression all at the same time now. lexapro is the 1st anti-depressant that has ever had a good effect on me

Advice & Tips: Since this medication was prescribed to me because I was diagnoised with narcolepsy during a sleep study done in 2007, this condition makes meel just fall asleep sometimes without any reason. So this medication gives me like a pick me up. The positive effect is that it gives me false energy.
