Advice & Tips: At one point, insurance coverage denied the drug for MS Fatigue. My primary Care sent me for a sleep test, knowing I would probably fail (and did) Took it to aid sleep Apnea. Another Insurance change and I took it back to my neurologist and am now taking Nuvigil for MS Fatigue!

Advice & Tips: Provigil works very well in combating daytime drowsiness. It is rather expensive(around $500.00 a month retail), but I'm fortunate to have a good prescription drug plan. I stopped taking it and switched to the 2nd generation version called Nuvigil. Surprisingly the new version is around half the price and works as well or better.

Advice & Tips: I love how clearly, without agitation or jitters, I can think and how it serves to beat back my fatigue. I have noted I need more than I used to before my flareups....I used to take 100mg daily for day time sleepiness, now that I have MS I take 200mg and would like 300mg, but I cant get that Rx'd yet.

Advice & Tips: I took this medication every morning I had to drive to work (Mon, Tues & Wed) or anytime I had to drive for more than just a few minutes. It helped keep me awake & alert. Without it I was always on the verge of falling asleep at the wheel. I never suffered any side effects at all. This medication made it possible for me to drive the 40 minute trip to work every morning & back every night.
