Advice & Tips: Since this medication was prescribed to me because I was diagnoised with narcolepsy during a sleep study done in 2007, this condition makes meel just fall asleep sometimes without any reason. So this medication gives me like a pick me up. The positive effect is that it gives me false energy.

Advice & Tips: More is NOT better with t his drug! I was told this by a neurologist ("more than 200mg/daily does NOT do more for the fatigue."). I take 100mg in the am, and have tried taking another 100mg in the early afternoon-so I can stay a little more active a little longer in the day. Doesn't seem to make much difference. This drug can be hard on the liver, so, if I don't get much more relief from a higher dose, I just don't think it's worth taking more of it. That's been my experience with Provigil.
