Advice & Tips:
Over the course of probably 5-6 months I started noticing problems in my short-term, functional memory. They were frequent enough for other people to notice at work.
My treatment was stopped because my psychiatrist discharged me from their supervision after having missed a couple appointments (going to work, forgetting I had one until it was too late) and I was behind with my bills (financial difficulties from previous decisions over the past few years). I was unable to get an appointment setup with a new doctor in time to continue treatment. Partially my fault, partially the difficulty of finding a new doctor.
Around the time I was running low on pills I had experimented with an extremely large dose of hallucinogenic mushrooms. This resulted in a short-term psychotic experience. Afterwards, I noticed I had a little anxiety.
The month went by until about the 15th when went into a full blown manic state complete with anxiety and a fairly severe detatchment from reality, as well as a thought process that was locked into the notion that I was going to die that day (not by my own will). I was hospitalized for 5 days at this point. at which point treatment started over.
As recommended, do not cease treatment abruptly. I found through my own research that the withdrawal symptoms lined up with mine experience almost perfectly, understanding that the drug use probably helped trigger something.
Side effects:
buzzing sensation in the brain area, memory problems, headaches
