Advice & Tips: This med (Flexeril aka cyclobenzaprine) has the side-effect of making you very sleepy at first. Over time, this effect goes away for the most part. Also, this med is not meant to be taken every day - it quickly loses it's effectiveness when taken consistently. I only take it about twice a week or so. It doesn't make me sleepy anymore. I've heard that this med is slightly related to the family of tricyclic antidepressants, but I don't know much about that.

Advice & Tips: It worked GREAT! I love the relief from pain however I become totally dysfunctional, I will be out for about 18 hours when I take this. So when my pain is so severe I am in a very dark place I will take a half of one to knock myself out to keep my self safe. Pain relief but a the trade off is vertical time.
