Advice & Tips: Very effective. I ended in the hospital with chest pain they told me it was reflux. Neurologist tells me I can't take this with my anti seizure drugs that they have just put out information that there is an interaction. GI dr. wanted to increase me to 3 per day. Can't they get their info together, and prevent my diseases from worsening Overall, I think it's hard to get all the dr's to agree on 1 course of action

Advice & Tips: It just didn't work for me, I still had nausea and diarrhea. My Gastroenterologist changed me over to Dexilant to see if that helps. I go for an ECG 8/6 to see what's up with my stomach.

Advice & Tips: I can not say that I actually had 'side effects' from this drug but it did not help me at all with the Barretts Esophagus, I actually got worse while taking this, the pain and nausea came back with a vengence. We are now trying to get my insurance to allow the protonex in the formulary. I never had any problems when I was on the protonex which eliminated the nausea, gas & pain.

Advice & Tips: Switched to 40mg twice daily when Rx'd Diclofenac EC, the anti-inflamm half of Arthrotec but without the stomach. Buffer in the brand name version.
