1. Consult with a pharmacist or a psychiatrist to find out how this drug may affect your behavior and/or mood.
2. Draw up a plan. Make sure your family and friends know to watch for any signs of behavior changes. These can be subtle at first. YOU, the patient, probably won't realize what is happening. Obsessive/compulsive and impulsive behaviors can include a lot of things besides gambling, overeating, and overspending.
3. This drug can cause hyper-sexuality. Talk to your partner and be mindful of possible effects from the drug. This is not a nice side effect!!
4. Are you also taking Sinemet? The two together can amplify side effects.
