Advice & Tips: Initially, the Celexa had a very calming effect physically. It improved my sleep and reduced digestive disturbances. The side effects were a 90% loss of libido and sexual function, severe teeth grinding at night and a moderate loss of emotional "depth of feeling". The reason that I stopped treatment was that after 4 years, it stopped working.

Advice & Tips: unexpected benefits for me have been weight loss due to loss of apetite. A big plus for me since I´ve gained so much weight with other meds that just won't come off. And no onther side effects really,wich is unexpected cus all thees stupid meds just give you problems after problems. but not citalopram, for me at least.

Advice & Tips: I stopped taking this medication due to me deciding to quit all meds for a few months. The side effects were none and it really did pretty well in raising my mood.
