Advice & Tips: If you see the advertisement for this medication on TV the side effects will scare the heck out of you. I take 15 mg. of Abilify which is quite a high dose and I do not feel any side effects from this medicine per se. The Abilify must be doing what it is presecribed for as my life is on an even keel and the stress that comes my way does not knock me for a loop and I can ususally handle stress without having to use any other mood stabilizing drugs.

Advice & Tips: watch for signs and symptoms of high blood sugar if you are diabetic. I am diabetic and my blood sugar was in the 300 range on a dosage of 7.5 mg daily. When weaned down to 2.5 mg daily my blood sugars came down to normal but I spent a month on insulin.
