Advice & Tips: Mirapex made me extremely groggy; I would be unable to stay awake even when I wasn't tired. I would find my eyes closing and would have to lie down and sleep. I could not function, as I was constantly groogy and sleeping at inappropriate times.

Advice & Tips: Mirapex worked well for awhile by itself, then seemed to become less effective. Side effects were not a major problem. Tried combining it with Sinemet with no apparent benefit. Sinemet by itself seems to work best for me at this time.

Advice & Tips: No real impact, because I have a medical background, I put my meds in a pill case and always have them with me, it became a ritual and did not interfere with any activity. At the beginning of the treatment, I saw a great increase in my ability to do "normal" daily activities. It was combined with stalevo, and amantadine, so it was not easy to determine which med or was it the combo, that gave me my life back.
