Advice & Tips: I found myself in an ever-deepening slow cognitive decline from this medication. I've had several doctors corroborate this. It was getting so bad that I had to stop driving for safety reasons. I felt that I had to stop this medication if I wanted my mind to stay sharper.

Advice & Tips: Gabapentin has worked wonders for my neuralgia and for my trigeminal neuralgia that I've dealt with twice in the past year. I cannot recommend this drug enough for nerve pain.

Advice & Tips: I stopped taking Gabapentin around 2010. I was prescribed Gabapentin again a year ago for nerve pain related to several herniated and ruptured disc in my lower back. I had to stop taking it soon after because I would throw up every time I took it. This was causing dehydration, weight loss, and it did not seem to have any positive effect on my nerve pain.
