We also found that I had gained 30 pounds within a year and this was 3 months after having our youngest daughter Hana. So, now I am struggling to lose the weight. I would recommend Lyrica to anyone if they are looking for pain relief, but also stress there is a huge side effect of weight gain.

Advice & Tips: Being already overweight, I have gained about 15 pounds since beginning treatment. This is very upsetting to me, as well as counter-productive as I know extra weight can make the pain of Fibro worse. I actually plan on weaning off of it.

Advice & Tips: That if you need this medicine but can't afford it, look up Pfizer's website - they have a form you can fill out that will tell you what programs they have you're eligible for. Just fill it out, print out the forms they indicate (and make sure you read everything, it can be a bit confusing, and you need a separate form for the Lyrica too), take them to your Dr, mail them, and you're done. It's not hard at all, and I'm one of those people that really has a hard time getting things done.
