Advice & Tips: If you are a naturally nervous or anxious person, then you do not want to be on this medicine. It is a norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor along with a selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor. Norepinephrine actually causes muscles to tense up, it causes you to go into fight, flight or frieght. It's great for someone who runs miles because it give you adrenylin to keep the running going. However if you are typically nervous and anxious, it will put you out of balance and cause you panic and anxiety as described above. You are better off with an antidepressant that is a only a selective seratonin reuptake inhibitor, like prozac, paxil, and many others. This medication will work amazingly well for people who are not anxious.
