Advice & Tips: Before I began taking Tramadol, I had a difficult time getting through the day. I would spend most of the day either in bed or in a recliner. I just didn't have the strenght to do anything...I even had difficulty holding up my head. Tramadol has improved that. Although I cannot work full time and still require daily naps, I can at least get out of bed and do a little during th day.

Advice & Tips: It really helps with the pain with out it being a narcotic. It still makes me sleepy but it is much easier on my system than the narcotics that I have taken in the past. I can feel a big difference when I don't take it. The pain increases and mobility is harder.

Advice & Tips: For pain relief this product works fairly quickly. It can cause one to be more addicted to things (ciggarettes, meds., etc.), itchy, restless, and cause dificulty falling asleep. With my fibromyalgia, I found taking it earlier in the day to be benificial, the restlessness helped me get out of bed during the day, and still able to fall asleep at night. Used along with 2400 gabapentin for moderately effective pain management.

Advice & Tips: I take this medication for help with my reflex sympathetic dystrophy. It is a good maintenance pain medication for me. I also have a crawling pain in my legs, that kind of pain the keeps you from being able to keep your legs still at night. These totally eliminate that problem, a big time unexpected benefit. I can take this as a generic with no bad repercussions.

Advice & Tips: I've decided to try this pain medication for my depression. Opioid pain medicine has always alleviated my symptoms. Dependence issues are not important to me now because of the severity of my symptoms. I will be watching for tolerance problems while taking this medicine. Besides being an opiate, Tramodol is said to have SSRI properties as well...

Advice & Tips: I tried to take tramadol as a replacement drug for pain relief instead of Vicodin but it did not help at all and I really wanted it to work so I kept trying to stick with it as so many people I knew had had good luck with it.. It was also very expensive so I finally gave up and went back to the vicodin.
