Advice & Tips: After taking 1 mg of Clonazapam twice/day for over 10 yrs., my new PCP informed me that it could cause cognitive disfunction. Since that is the last thing I want, I weaned myself totally off of it about 6 wks. ago; however, I was having sleeping problems and some nights (mornings), I wouldn't fall asleep until 4-5:00am. Because of this, I am now taking .25 mg before bedtime and plan to discontinue that in the future, and maybe just take it if absolutely necessary.

Advice & Tips: Helps with my anxiety as well as soon as I took it and sezuires but if I miss or skip a dose I have a sezuire straight away. And if I have two sezuires in a row my epilepsy specialist said to take one straight after so I don't have another and it works in enough time for if I have to get to hospital

Advice & Tips: I only take this medication when I feel out of control, rage, intemse anxiety, heavy worry and paranoia. For me, it causes a bit of confusion, loss of balance, drowsiness/sleepiness and some apathy. It definitely takes the edge off of any rage, anxiety, heavy worry and paranoia I experience. The bit of apathy thrown in, I feel, is necessary for me. That is what really calms me down. I go from worrying so much, that the apathy balances me out to a healthy calm.
