Advice & Tips: I highly recommend this as a migraine and fibro treatment as well. It has turned my life around headache wise. Instead of having migraines on average twice per week, I might have 2 per month now. Plus, it is very inexpensive, and helps me to sleep, too.

Advice & Tips: amitriptyline at first worked great for sleep, but soon stopped. would cause me to wake with very bad headaches.And it also made me very hungry all the time, I gained 3# in 2 1/2 weeks. started to get very depressed. But was fantastic for my FMS no neck,back, or shoulder pain( but I did have headaches)

Advice & Tips: It can be taken on a regular basis on a regular doseage 25mg,50mg,etc 3xperday. I try not to do that at all, I am afraid my body would become used to it and not work anymore. So I stick with my one dose at bedtime.

Advice & Tips: I use this med at bedtime. My muscles would not relax, and it began to hurt, a lot. So when I take this med about 15min. before I go to bed I am able to let my body sink into the bed and relax. I have never had any side effects that I know of. And only take it once a day at bedtime.
