Advice & Tips: My Baclofen is administered through an intrathecal pump implanted just under the skin in my upper buttocks. I cannot control any part of the device, the doctor does everything through a handheld scanner. Medication refills are done in my doctors office through a little port that is accessed via a small catheter. This is a quick procedure and does not hurt.

Advice & Tips: It gave me sudden periods of intense sleepiness. I was unsafe driving and twice needed the wake up bumps on the side of the road to make it home from work in the afternoon/early evening after taking baclofen the night before. The drowsiness hit in waves from mid morning on through the day, and baclofen was the only change in my meds/routine.

Advice & Tips: I you do take this medication just be care full if you are living in a dizzy state to watch to see if it get wores, make sure you talk to your doctor if they get worse. When I was taking this medication it did work very well why I was on it but the side effects were not any I wanted to live with, I was falling just about every time I was walking. so jsut pay attintion while tacking this medication.
