Advice & Tips:
I stopped using all opioids on Oct 28, 21 after I died of an overdose in my home. Without the fast thinking of my roommate, I would be in the cold ground right now. I was not at educated about opioids AT ALL. The warnings that the pharmacy gives you tell you NOTHING! I was in my chair, watching church on Zoom when he noticed that I wasn't right and ran to get my daughter. Without correct CPR I would be a goner. It took nearly 1/2 hour for the ambulance to get back in the woods to my place. That entire time my daughter had to breath for me. Poor kid!!! I know she is 40, but no child should have to do that!!! Opioids can completely take over your brain. I was going to many specialists and every test was negative, but my pain kept getting worse. It was so electric and hot, I could barely stand it anymore. Nobody thought of Opioid-Induced Hyperalgesia. Now that I am months past using opioids, my pain is under control without those strong medications. I used to be such a strong advocate of opioids, and now that I am educated, I know about their extreme dangers. The odds of me not having any lasting effects from dying were about nil. The doctors warned my kids. I am one in a million. I am myself, with no problems because of my daughter's excellent CPR. I look at each day now as an extra special blessing from Jehovah God. I am so grateful to be alive!!! I hope that I didn't turn anyone to opioids with anything that I ever said before!!! They are poison to everyone!!!

Advice & Tips:
I have been taking hydrocodone under many names over the years. Some of the names were Vicodin, Lortab, and Norco. They all seemed to work the same which was not that good.
I just started taking the 10/325 yesterday so I will have to see how well a higher dosage pill helps me. I really hope I see an improvement in my pain levels with this new dose.
My dosages have been up and down as my PCP was really mad at me for quitting Lyrica. I was hallucinating and could fall asleep right in the middle of a sentence while I was talking. I totaled 2 cars and was lucky that I didn't kill some innocent victim! Both accidents happened while I was hallucinating. It was plain awful taking the Lyrica but my PCP didn't understand and cut my hydrocodone down to the bare bones. I just went 3 years without a dosage increase as she had told me to never ask again but I couldn't help finally breaking down and asking. I asked for 2 x 7.5 per day and she said, "No" but then the very next month she wrote it for the same amount that I had asked for by writing me 45 x 10mg per month. That is still 15 mg a day. Bless her heart for helping me out!!! I hate it when I don't have a life because of pain...
