Advice & Tips: My initial use of Rebif was a T-TH-S regimen. I found that I had extreme fatigue each Monday morning while adhering to that schedule. I switched to M-W-F shots, early in the evening, and found that using the week-end to "recover" from the injections allowed me to feel much better on Monday mornings. I added Amantadine (200 mg) daily, and with the combination of the two, feel that the overall changes have helped significantly. Tylenol-Extra Strength in the evenings seems to help battle the side effects from the shots.

Advice & Tips: we I entered into the trial study for Rebif I was very scared and was newly diagnosed with MS. I hated giving myself the shots, it took forever for me to inject myself. The treatment worked, I had no side effects besides getting better. My nails and hair grew well and strong when I was on the treatment. Since then i haven't taken any other treatment, I learned about my disease, took control over it and listened to my body when i felt like I was having a relaps. Today I control the disease by exercise, going to the gym, which keeps the fatigue down and most important I live a stress free life style. Number 1 for controlling the disease. if I should get on a medication in the future, I'm thinking avonex or betaseron.
