The main purpose was to get rest at night and to treat the symptoms of depression. After taking it for a few years from 2007 to 2008 the doctors took me off because they said it was causing me to "kick" in my sleep. I tried to go back to it but my nasal passages became too dry.

I take the Trazadone mostly for sleep. Sleepiness, by the way, is the only side effect I get from it and actually, I don't consider that a side effect!
