Advice & Tips:
Darvocet didn't really help the pain and it made me a little nauseaus. We tried it before moving on to Methodone. Ultram worked great for me but I can no longer take it because I had serotonin syndrome. So we are trying a lower level drug, more similar to the ultram, to see if it helps since I'm up to morphine with no relief. It didn't. I'm trying tylenol with codeine now, for 5 days, it helps the pain a little bit for about 2 hours, but the itching is so bad and I keep getting hives. It's prescribed every 6 hrs so that's 4 hours of nothing but ithing. Benadryl helps, but then I'm tired in addition to the fatigue and it just isn't working. My pain mgmt dr. is on vacation, looks like we will be starting methodone when I see him on Tues.
