Advice & Tips: my physiotherapist advised me that if I did these exercises. I would not have any problems with my shoulder muscles or tendons – and to date she has been correct!

Advice & Tips: I get 1 hour exesize every evening from my caregivers and twice a week from a phisiotherapist (fysioterapeut) and these daily sessions since 2005 has resulted in no stiffness in any joint. The program is put together by me and several proffessionals

Advice & Tips: Do you strength exercises...I have not really done much for a year or so now, and I really do feel weaker. You don't have to increase muscle tone, just aim for maintaining the strength you have. I now have a recumbent bike which I try to ride 15 mins 4-5 time per week. I'm better at sticking to that, but when I feel tired/weak, I just don't do it...or when holidays or company comes around....bad excuses, but I use them! Wish I had kept up with hip and leg exercises...may try to start fro beginning again one day soon!

Advice & Tips: I have been really "bad" about exercising for the last 4-6 months. Just got myself a recumbent bike and will be more adherent about daily exercise. Still need to do my floor exercises for hip and back strength...but have been negligent lately. When I do them, I DO feel much better...don't notice getting stronger, but as my PT says, we are "maintaining"!!!

Advice & Tips: PT and OT trained my caregiver so she does this 3 times a week after my shower. This has really helped keep me from getting stiff or sore. It also releaves aches before they get bad. I would recommend everyone find one or two caregivers, family, or friend to be trained too. We have done an update a few months after origanal training.
