Advice & Tips: I may stop taking it because I don't know that it is helping me. My neurologist agrees that it is Ok to try without it to see if if is currently giving me benefits or not. There seem to be no side effects but I prefer to take as little medication as possible (and also save the high cost).

Advice & Tips: It lets me walk almost normally (once I get started) and permitted me to reduce Requip and some its negative effects. It is very expensive and causes my family to quickly reach my max out of pocket prescription costs of $1,500.00. So, for most of the year there is no cost to me, because my prescription insurance picks up all cost after we reach the Max.

Advice & Tips: It is difficult to determine how effective a treatment is in slowing progression of Parkinson's disease in just one person. Therefore by seeing little or no change, that might actually be a good thing in determining the effectiveness of Azilect (rasagiline)
