Advice & Tips: I take Motrin to reduce the swelling in my muscles from spasms, which is usually caused by any sort of strenuous activity. It's the only thing I can take while working that won't make me drowsy or scatterbrained, which is usually somewhat of a help to tithe me over until I get home to relax. The pain reduction isn't much to speak of, but it's better than nothing! I try not to take Motrin when I've had a lot of caffeine, or if I've taken Excedrin for headaches.
