Advice & Tips: The only thing I HATE about this medication is the fact that after discontinuing my 1/2 mg. (morning dose) and my 1mg (bedtime dose) is upon resuming that small amout within less than 24 hours it triggers my period to start. I also experienced lingual pain when exposed to a hot water environment such as a bath or hot tub. I also have to be careful of too much sun as I am prone to heat stroke.

Advice & Tips: I showed signs of drug interaction from the begining (Azilect & Propranolol HCl). Also I had tyramine sensity. I asked questions, documented and from 4-02-08 to 8 06-2010 was the length of l this drug! I was always feeling like they thought I was a dementia possibility! So be prepared to be ignored and or otherwise be dismissed. but be adwised keep asking and documenting. they will eventually hear you!

Advice & Tips: While I experienced good results the catch was a side effect that became an issue I did not want to ignore. I became tyramine sensitive which became more intense till I reduced my dosage in half. From 1 mg to .5 mg. So far this has helped.

Advice & Tips: If your neck starts to get stiff or you get a clunking sound in your neck, stop taking it immediately and consult your doctor. Also, a neck and shoulder massage may be beneficial.

Advice & Tips: have only taken azilect for 3 weeks. The headaches can be bad. but the positive side effect is the reduction of tremors which is noticeable by other people. I now need to weigh up if the side effects are worth the reduction of tremors. I will continue taking the tabs another month and then re evaluate how I think I am progressing. Impact on my life at present is not always feeling well 1st thing in the morning I take awhile to 'get going', . I like to keep a routine going I like to think will not give in to the disease.
