Advice & Tips: This Cymbalta had about as much effect for me as eating a tic tac. It did absolutely nothing. I am amazed that anyone ever feels any relief of any kind using this. This was supposed to be for depressed people who also experience pain. The only thing that works for my pain was actual pain medication.

  • Effectiveness
    Moderate (for fibromyalgia)
  • Effectiveness
    Moderate (for depressed mood)
  • Side effects
    None
  • Adherence
    Always
  • Burden
Not at all hard to take
Dosage: 60 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: This was originally given to me as an anti-depressent that is supposed to help with pain. I am not aware of any negative side effects. While I am still always in pain, I can only assume, it would be alot worse without the Cymbalta. The unexpected benefit came as a result of my dosage being doubled for Fibro. Given a number of constant and occasionally overwhelming pressures I am living with, I find it remarkable I haven't gone into any deep depressions and I believe it due to the additional dosage
