Advice & Tips: Methotrexate injections have been more beneficial than the oral form. The side effects are way less on injections. It still makes me feel slow and sleepy for a day or two after but not nauseous. When I was taking the oral form I would always only be able to sleep for six hours, then have to take a nap two hours after I would get up the day after I took the weekly dose. I had to stop taking my shot because I got a lung infection.
Cost: < $25 monthly

Advice & Tips: The interruption on Jan 11th was due to the upcoming CABG surgery , to allow for the immune system to be ready for the extra load, exposure to potentialrisks of infection, etc. A bit unexpectedly, despite of this interruption of now about 45 days, I have NO psoriasis and arthritis symptoms.

Advice & Tips: My reumatologist suspects methrotrexate could cause my lung problems, accordingly she redused my dose from 9 to 6 pills. After approx 5 month, I still have pains in my chest. So I need to find out if chest pains will go away if I quit methrotrexate all together. The RA pains will increese, but this is nessesary.
