Advice & Tips: I am still doing Tuesday yoga. During the week I follow Erin at Five Parks on YouTube. I have rehab exercises from PT. Slowly gaining range of motion on left neck. Posture and back muscles improving. Still can feel that nerve.

Advice & Tips: I enrolled in Gentle Yoga, once a week. I am trying to do a 30 minute session eveyday, unless I feel to beat up from other activities. It is easy to go right into my 20 minute Tai Chi Chih practice. I've had an awful time with a pain on left side of neck. Started maybe around May 2016, went away during my 10 day hysterectomy recovery (600 mg ibuprofen every 6 hours) in October 2016. The the hard physical labor in January 2017 made it worse. Neuromuscular massage helped to pinpoint the severity. One 1/2hr session. will do some more. The yoga upper shoulder stretches I think are doing the trick for the impingement. Posture and not doing "text neck" on the iphone are necessary. PT said get out of chair every 20 min.

Advice & Tips: From Oct2012 to April2012 I was unable to do the daily sun salutation, due to shoulder pain. The PT thinks it was probably the fall when i missed the step at JAn's party. It has not gone away. I felt it the other day when i slipped a little on an ice patch. I am doing the sun salutation again. Some evening in front of the TV i do many stretches.

Advice & Tips: I have been unable to practice much physical yoga over the past 3 years due to RA joint and limb pain but I continue to use pranayama techniques, meditation and mantra to unite body and soul. This helps me to find my centre, feel grounded, connect to the Earth and my inner strength. From this place I am able to manage life's challenges with greater ease.

Advice & Tips: Due to neuralgia I practice yoga sporadically as and when I can but feel better if I can practice regularly whether for 10 minutes almost every day or for 1 hour 2 or 3 times a week. Benefits are holistic - I feel energised and soothed physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This helps me to manage the neuralgia symptoms more effectively by feeling powerful instead of powerless against the pain. Finding the time is up to me as it can be 10 minutes or longer according to my schedule and energy levels. However, when I am experiencing intense pain it is harder to feel motivated or to physically maintain a practice.
