Advice & Tips: Report extreme fatigue, sudden increase in fatigue, and changes in "normal" pain to your doctor IMMEDIATELY! I ended up sleeping and was bedridden for the better part of six weeks and could not stay awake for more than a couple of hours at a time. No amount of Hydrocodone would decrease the head to toe body pain. These are some of the lesser known side-effects of this medication, not a "freak" occurrence.

Advice & Tips: I have a long history of high cholesterol. About 8-9 years ago, I took 80 mg of Zocor a day. My level of cholesterol was under control. Suddenly,my primary care doctor changed zocor to Lovastatin 40mg to reduce the cost. It didn't work this way. I asked my doctor togive me Zocor again; but he decreased the dose to 20mg/day. I continued taking 20mg Zocor/day until around 06/2009. At this time, my level of cholesterol was always high- around 220-230-although I keep my diet and exercise 5 days a week. From 06/2009, a pharmacist who controlled the use of medication called me and told me that she changed the dose of Zocor to 40mg. Around 3 months later, a blood test revealed my cholesterol still high. And finally, I took 80mg Zocor. The last blood test showed my cholesterol is170. My advice to other people is Zocor is a good med. for lowering cholesterol besides diet and exercise. Good luck.
