Advice & Tips: I was put on Sabril because I kept on having seizures. After being put on it I still had seizures so I'm currently coming off of it after taking it for about a year. Two reasons for coming off of it: 1, it wasn't stopping the seizures, 2, its "toxic." Sabril is a experimental drug that can cause blindness so my doctor said if it isn't stopping the seizures I'm coming off of it. I was on high dosages along with the other medication I also have to take.

Advice & Tips: It wasn't stopping the seizures so the doctor said if it's not working then it's not worth the risk of losing my eye sight. Still have to get my retina checked regularly to see if the medication effected it.

Advice & Tips: I just started taking this today(May 21, 2010). The plan is 1 500mg tablet for one week, 2 for one week, and finally 3 for 1 week and that's what I'll be taking. Its been FDA approved for 6 months and it was created in France. Its delivered from the company and not found in any pharmacy and because of that I had to speak with a company representative and I also had to fill out a disclaimer form. The form is for its largest side effect which is vision loss so I have to get my eyes checked every 3 months. The first round of medication is on the company.
