Advice & Tips: SIC (self-intermittent catheterization) is really no big deal at all. I perchance you receive Medicare, there is a new ruling that states that we who SIC are entitles to a new catheter each time. Woo Hoo. I just received approval for this and was really happy about it. This takes the out of pocket cost away for me. If you have Medicare, Google Medicare and Intermittent catheters.
