Dosage: 300 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: take this med when you already for bed and sitting on the side of your bed after you have already prepared to sleep. At the higher doses, You will literally fall asleep on the toilet if you take it before you get ready for bed. Sometimes when eyes are closed when in bed your mind will visualize weird images, just pretend you are watching a weird 1960's movie, don't try to "grab onto" an image, watch it then let it fade away, and you will slide into sleep faster. Side effect: tends to make mouth dry, have a glass of water at the bedside to wet your mouth. I have been on this med for > 18 years and adore it for sleep, non- habit-forming/ non-addictive (except don't sleep as well without it) and doesn't show in drug tests as a controlled substance like most other sleepers.
