Advice & Tips: I am back on Bendeka and Gozyva - same dosages as before. I have asked the nurses administering my infusions of Bendeka to slow the drip to 30 minutes (versus the 10 minutes as prescribed) - this seems to do less damage to my veins and surrounding nerves. We shall see as the next 5 months of treatments go by.

Advice & Tips: I had 2 infusions of Bendeka over two days at 75 MG per day along with 1000 MG Gazeva (this is a new RX because Rituxan no longer has any effect on my lymphoma) . My arm began to burn at the infusion site after a few minutes, the veins red turned red and the redness extended up the vein for several days, as did moderate pain. After one week, the veins are still visibly swollen and discolored. My arm feels like I was struck hard with something like a baseball bat. Aside from my arm, I have been flat on my butt for the past 5 days - I think I am finally getting some energy back. This stuff definitely got my attention.
