Advice & Tips: Mid July 2014 switched to 800 mg once per day dosing after advice from my ID doctor. previously I had been dosing 400mg twice daily. Once per day fits nicely with my Eviplera dosing. So I'm NOT following the manufacturers recommendations, I'm following my ID doctor's recomendation. The advice came after a cohort study done in Australian clinical settings found no differnce in clinical outcomes between the once a day dosage and the twice a day dosage.

Advice & Tips: The only drawback I've found with this is that it is a twice daily dosing, but it is flexible around food/fasting. I've been on it several years (since before it was approved in Australia) and had no nasty side effects. I've only had a one off blip in my viral load.
