Going wheat-free has helped my overall health. I have less lethargy and sleepiness after meals. It has, until recently, helped me lose weight. Nonetheless, it is extremely difficult to stay wheat-free when out of the house. Wheat is a staple in our culture, meaning it is served in or with every meal. Ingredients must be thoroughly checked and re-checked. Exceptions and special orders are the rule, not the exception. Eventually, you find ways to adapt.
