Advice & Tips: Burning sensation is called flushing and is a common side effect. Taking at bed time and avoiding late night snack s of spicy foods, chocolate, and hot beverages minimizes the effects. You usually sleep right through them.

Dosage: 1000 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: If you take any MS interferon treatments, do NOT take Niaspan. This drug caused my August hospitalization (severely increased liver enzymes). It took a month for them to return to normal levels and I continued, remain on Rebif with good results.

Advice & Tips: Adhere to application recommendations (i.e. take with as little liquid as possible, eat a slice of dry bread with it, don't eat anything spicy) to minimize occurrence of flush.
