18 patient evaluations for Metoprolol

Jan 1, 2010 (Started Dec 08, 2005)

  • Effectiveness
    None (for arrythmia)
  • Side effects
    Mild
  • Adherence
    Never taken as prescribed
  • Burden
Not at all hard to take
Dosage: As needed
Advice & Tips: My heart rate is generally far to erratic to control with this medication. It lowered my already low heart rate to bradycardia. I noticed that the drug itself may prove very useful for patients that have a touchy flight or fight response. It steadied my heart rate so I felt calm in most situations. The medicine itself became inadequate and generally not helpful, so I discontinued the use of it.
