    Can't tell (for Parkinson's disease)

    Severe (skin rash)
  • Adherence
    Sometimes
  • Burden
    Very hard to take
Advice & Tips: The MOST important advice, is that Azilect has some undesirable raections with certain other meds, including, so I am told, certain commonly used anesthetics. The problem I had with it was not that one. My problem was a severe skin reaction. How severe was it? The sores looked just like fire ant bites! Dozens of them!
Side effects: skin rash

  • Side effects
    None
  • Adherence

  • Burden

Dosage: 1 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: The only thing I HATE about this medication is the fact that after discontinuing my 1/2 mg. (morning dose) and my 1mg (bedtime dose) is upon resuming that small amout within less than 24 hours it triggers my period to start. I also experienced lingual pain when exposed to a hot water environment such as a bath or hot tub. I also have to be careful of too much sun as I am prone to heat stroke.
