  • Adherence

  • Burden

Advice & Tips: Early on in my PD this supplement was more effective. However no one currently formulates this compound so you have to buy the bulk compound and fill capsules which can be a problem if you have coordination difficulties.

  • Effectiveness
    Moderate (for Parkinson's disease)
  • Side effects
    None
  • Adherence
    Always
  • Burden
Not at all hard to take
Dosage: 1000 mg Daily
Advice & Tips: I switched from taking L-Tyrosine to taking Acetyl L-Tyrosine because of better absorption and delivery of the Tyrosine across the blood brain barrier. Also it is less affected by the ingestion of other amino acids (proteins).
Cost: < $25 monthly
