Mild (happiness, elevated blood sugar (hyperglycemia))
  • Adherence
    Always
  • Burden
Not at all hard to take

Advice & Tips: So, I had to be taken to the local infusion center every day around noon (1.5 miles). I had them give me a new iv each time so as to not deal with anything outside of the hospital. It was a relatively pleasant experience. The first infusion caused me to become slightly more more upbeat than is typical for a short time. You know, the feeling when you are just a little bit high. I should also note that it cause surprisingly high blood sugar levels for several hours after each infusion, but the doctors never noticed since the only ran tests before each infusion. Also it cost $3300, but I had already met my deductible so it was free.
Cost: < $25 monthly
