I was diagnosed with MS in 1997. I am divorced with two grown children and seven grandchildren. I've had to stop working due to my MS fatigue and cognitive problems. I try to stay active and also used to write a local MS newsletter. I enjoy reading, swimming, gardening, crafts, visiting friends, traveling, and going to the beach.
I have Multiple Sclerosis, and even though you cannot see most of my symptoms, it is always with me. I have many hidden symptoms that others do not understand. I do my best to manage my symptoms and take it "one day at a time". So please be patient when I have cognitive difficulties or am weak or fatigued. Also feel free to ask me any questions you may have about my condition, which may help you better understand what I am dealing with.
