Hi, I'm a 35 yrs old mother of 2 teens 17 and 15. I was diagnosed with RRMS in 2004 following a car accident on Sept.20,2003. I had never heard of M.S. before then. I never realized a disease could have many unpredictable symptoms that varies with each individual that suffers from this mysterious illness.
It has been a hard transition for my family and i. I am just now accepting the fact that my life will be different with a chronic illness. But through all my frustrations i feel really blessed to have been able to continue an almost normal life inspite of my unknown future with this condition. It gets hard sometimes not being able to do a lot of the things i enjoyed doing, but I am learning to adjust. All i need is patience within myself and others.
