When I was first diagnosed with MS, I was relieved to put a name to my symptoms. I had very bad ataxia, horrible fatigue, mild blurred vision and extreme depression. I knew something was wrong because I was a totally different person before. Nothing ever bothered me before. What a shock!
I have been married to my soulmate, Tim for 28 years. I have two grown kids and three grandchildren.
When I was diagnosed, in 2006, I seemed to be okay with MS. I did very well after my round of IV steroids, but after about six months I couldn't cope anymore. I was in constant pain and could no longer play golf because of my fatigue. I kept going downhill physically and emotionally until I went on disability in 2010. I started taking more vitamins and ate healthier. I love being able to come to this site and chat with people just like me.
