Steroid IV Infusion
About Steroid IV Infusion (Prescription Drug)
Intravenous (IV) steroids are used to treat an acute MS attack also known as an exacerbation or relapse. They are generally given daily for three to five days. IV steroids such as Solu-Medrol (methylprednisolone) are used to hasten the recovery from the relapse.
