What is Werner syndrome?
Werner syndrome is characterized as the premature appearance and features associated with aging. Conditions that usually occur later in life, affect these patients at an earlier age, e.g. cataracts, skin ulcers, type 2 diabetes, infertility, and osteoporosis.
